Call for Donors

Since its inception in 1980, the IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy (a.k.a., the “Oakland” conference) has been a premier conference in the cyber security community that annually attracts an international group of researchers, developers, practitioners and others interested in the latest advances in computer security and privacy.

The 2020 Symposium will mark the 41st annual meeting of this flagship conference. IEEE Computer Society and the Security and Privacy Organizing Committee have been monitoring the developing COVID-19 situation. The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our top priority. After studying and evaluating the announcements, guidance, and news released by relevant national departments, we have decided that the 2020 IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy, will be converted into an all-digital conference experience. The Symposium will be held on May 18-20, 2020, whereas the Security and Privacy Workshops will be held on May 21, 2020.
