Call For Posters

The 2017 Symposium marks the 2nd annual meeting of EuroS&P, the European IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy. Since 1980, the IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy has been the premier forum for presenting developments in computer security and electronic privacy, and for bringing together researchers and practitioners in the field. We are looking forward to establishing a similarly successful venue in Europe. Presenting a poster at EuroS&P is a great chance for researchers to obtain valuable feedback on their ongoing work from knowledgeable participants at the conference.

Posters are solicited that present recent and late-breaking research on security and privacy related topics. Abstracts should briefly describe the particular problem being addressed, and detail your approach to the problem. Providing preliminary results is suggested but not required. Accepted poster abstracts will be posted on the conference website.

Posters from students on new and exciting problems are especially encouraged. There is limited travel support available for students attending the conference. Please note that getting a poster accepted does not guarantee travel support. Details on travel grants will be soon provided on the website.

At least one author of each accepted poster is expected to attend the conference to present the poster and engage conference attendees in extended conversations about their ongoing work!

Submission Details

Submit an abstract no longer than two pages describing the work. The abstract title should begin with the keyword "Poster:". The abstract should identify the key contribution of the work being presented in the poster. In addition, it should describe the particular problem being addressed, what makes this problem interesting or important, and what your approach is to the problem. Include a list of authors with contact information and institutional affiliation.

Please use the 2 column IEEE conference proceedings style for preparing your abstract, in Compsoc Conference Mode (i.e. \documentclass[compsoc, conference, letterpaper, 10pt, times]{IEEEtran}). Your abstract should not exceed the two page limit; non-conforming submissions will not be considered for review.

Please send your poster abstract PDF by emailing to eurosp2017-posters@ieee-security.org before the deadline.

If accepted, a final version of your abstract is due on March 29, 2017. Your abstract will be placed on the conference website prior to the poster session, but will not be included in the conference proceedings.

The final posters are due by April 12, 2017
