IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy

31st IEEE Symposium on Security & Privacy

The symposium is now closed. Please join us for the 2011 symposium: 22-25 May 2011, Claremont Resort, Berkeley, CA.

The 2010 symposium marks the 31st annual meeting of this flagship conference. Since 1980, the IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy has been the premier forum for presenting developments in computer security and electronic privacy, and for bringing together researchers and practitioners in the field.

The symposium will be held May 16-19 at the Claremont Resort in Oakland, California.

The 30th anniversary of Security and Privacy welcomes all in the security research community to a light-hearted awards dinner at the Pauley Ballroom on May 17. All participants (past and present) and their guests are welcome at this retrospective event with Master of Ceremonies Peter G. Neumann. The renowned scientific comedy group The Galileo Players from Chicago will perform a security and privacy improv comedy show! The dinner will also include announcement of the winner of the NIST Computer System Security Award.
