Call for Workshop Proposals The organizing committee of The 3rd IEEE/ASE International Conference on Cyber Security, which will be held at Stanford, CA, solicits workshop/tutorial/panel proposals. Workshops should facilitate an active and constructive exchange on current issues of interest. They should allow members of the community to compare and discuss approaches, methods, and concepts about topics addressed by the conference. Workshop proposals should include the following details: o The title, goals and duration of the workshop o The specific topics that will be addressed by the workshop o How relevant and significant this workshop is to the conference, including to whom it would be of interest (and why) and the expected range of number of participants o A description of past versions of the workshop, including the number of submitted and accepted papers and the number of attendees (if applicable) o The planned format of the workshop, including a strategy to facilitate lively and interactive discussions o The paper selection process o A description of how the workshop will be publicized and recruiting for call for papers o A draft workshop call for papers with: Names, affiliations, postal address, phone and fax numbers, email addresses of the workshop organizers, who must be recognized experts in the related topics and from multiple institutions; one of the organizers should be identified as primary contact o A list of potential Program Committee members, with their affiliations. The workshops will be held on May 27, 2014. Workshop/tutorial/panel proposals must be in English, should not exceed 3 pages and should be submitted via the Workshop Proposal Submission Site by January 15, 2014. Applicants will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their proposal by January 22, 2014. Workshop proposals will be evaluated on various criteria, including the quality and level of detail of the proposal, and the balance and capacity of the conference workshop program.
