Embedded Cryptographic Hardware

The focus of this special session of International Conference on
Information Technology: Coding and Computing is on embedded
cryptographic hardware. Of special interest are contributions that
describe new methods and architectures for high performance embedded
cryptographic hardware. The conference proceedings will be published
by IEEE Computer Society.
The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
a.. Computer architectures for public-key cryptosystems
b.. Computer architecture for secret-key cryptosystems
c.. Efficient cryptographic algorithms for embedded processors
d.. Reconfigurable computing in cryptography
e.. Cryptographic processors and co-processors
f.. Cryptography in wireless applications
g.. Smart card architectures
h.. Compression algorithms for smart cards
i.. Special-purpose hardware for cryptanalysis
The length of the contribution is limited to 8 single-spaced double
column IEEE format pages. Papers may only be submitted electronically
in PDF or PS version to the session editor at nadia@eng.uerj.br. The
time schedule is as follows:
Paper submission: October 30th., 2003
Notification of acceptance: November 14th., 2003
Camera-ready: December 19th., 2003
